In the seventeenth issue of The Cross Papers, Amy J. Marin looks at some of the limitations surrounding brain research and learning, and at three myths about learning that have developed around interesting and promising findings. She surveys contributions brain research and learning science can make to the work of education, and provides eight evidence-based learning principles along with techniques for incorporating each principle into instructional planning and practice. Finally, she considers research on ways digital natives learn and offers tips for engaging these 21st century students.
