*Completion of the 2024 Executive Leadership Institute requires attendance at all activities, including those in the evenings, during both the December 2024 and January 2025 institute dates.

Application Fee

A $200 nonrefundable application fee is required to complete your ELI application. Purchase orders and checks are not accepted for this fee.

Qualifications

A minimum of three years of experience in senior-level administrative positions, such as vice chancellor, vice president, provost, dean, or equivalent, at a two-year college is generally required.

Required Documents to Accompany Application

You will need to submit a résumé and two letters of recommendation as part of the application process. See the ELI Application Packet for important information about specific requirements for these documents.

Application Instructions

To apply for the 2024 Executive Leadership Institute:

  1. Log in* to your League account.
  2. Hover over ‘My Account’ at the top of this web page.
  3. Click on ‘ELI Application’ in the My Account dropdown.
  4. Click on ‘Create New Executive Leadership Institute Application.’
  5. Download and review the 2024 Executive Leadership Institute Application Packet.
  6. Complete the application.
  7. Submit the application after all fields are filled in and all requirements are uploaded.
*If you do not yet have a League account, go to www.league.org/user to create one. If you have a League account but do not remember your username and/or password, click on 'Forgot Password?' and use the email address associated with your account to request your account credentials. You will receive an email with a password reset link.

Tuition

Tuition includes a welcome reception, breakfast and lunch each day, all-day break stations, and dinner on the last night of the in-person portion of the institute.

  • Board members: $2,750
  • Alliance members: $2,945
  • Non-Alliance members: $3,200

Tuition payment is due by November 1, 2024.
Refunds minus a $250 cancellation fee will be issued for registrations cancelled in writing by November 1, 2024. Tuition fees for cancellations received after November 1, 2024, will not be refunded. Executive Leadership Institute participation may be deferred for one year only.
